This option includes an urgent care provider evaluation for patients experiencing symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Depending on clinical findings, antibiotics such as amoxicillin-clavulanate, amoxicillin, nitrofurantoin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, cephalexin, fosfomycin, or ciprofloxacin may be considered. A licensed provider reviews medical history, symptoms, and questionnaire responses to determine whether treatment may be appropriate. If approved, medication is prescribed in accordance with clinical guidelines. Treatment is not guaranteed and is subject to provider discretion.
